Entries Open for 2018 National Disability Championships

Entries for the National Tenpin Bowling Championship for Persons with a disability from the 6th June till 16th June, 2018 are now open.

AMF Woodville in Adelaide will host the 30th running of the Championship and with strong numbers attending last year’s event, the 2018 Championship is set to be one of the largest single sporting events for people with a disability in Australia this year.  

Bowlers with physical and intellectual disabilities will travel from all States and Territories to participate in the prestigious tournament.

Over the 10 days bowlers will compete in individual and team events culminating in the Masters events on Friday 15th June.

With the Championship being a graded event, it attracts bowlers of all skill levels from those who are relatively new to the sport to those who would not look out of place bowling against the best abled bodied bowlers in Australia.  

The 2018 tournament will also include the announcement of the All Abilities team which will compete at the Australian Adult Championship in October against the best bowlers Australia has to offer.

The tournament begins on Wednesday 6th June with singles, doubles and team squads being bowled with the state team challenges held on Wednesday 13th June.
