2025 Open High Performance Squad Confirmed

Tenpin Bowling Australia is pleased to announce the athletes selected in the 2025 Open High Performance Squad (HPS) — representing some of the top tenpin bowling talent in the country.
The Open HPS forms a critical part of TBA’s national high performance structure, connecting athletes with opportunities for elite development, international representation, and a clear pathway aligned with world-level competition.
Selection Process
Athletes were selected following an extensive expression of interest process, with all nominations reviewed by a dedicated selection panel. Final selections were based on recent performance, commitment to athlete development, and alignment with the expectations of the High Performance program.
This squad forms part of TBA’s restructured High Performance Squad (HPS) model — an initiative designed to deliver a consistent, athlete-focused approach across all national squad levels.

Coaching & Support
The Open HPS is led by Cameron Walsh, who also oversees the Youth High Performance Squad as part of his national coaching leadership role. Cameron brings a wealth of experience to the position and will be supported by members of TBA’s High Performance coaching and management pool.
The squad will have access to targeted development opportunities, event preparation support, and a high-performance environment designed to elevate athletes toward success on the international stage.

With all divisions of the 2025 High Performance Squad now confirmed — Youth, Senior, Inclusion, and Open — athletes across all squads can look forward to a connected calendar of training opportunities, and performance planning.
