The TBA Women’s nationally ranked event season rolls on this weekend at ZONE BOWLING Frankston in Victoria for the 40th edition of the iconic Vic150.

Famously paired with the Australian Tenpin Bowling Open over the Easter long weekend, the Vic150 sees a full field of 56 bowlers set to compete across scratch and graded divisions. Bowlers will tackle 16 games of qualifying spread across two appearances, battling for their positions in a unique finals format.

Sunday brings a twist as the top 10 bowlers from each division pair up in a snake draft, forming doubles teams (1st place scratch with 10th place graded, 2nd place scratch with 9th place graded, etc.). After re-averaging graded bowlers, teams will then compete in 9 intense matchplay games, earning bonus pins along the way (20 pins for a win, 10 for a draw). The highest combined pinfall, including bonuses, crowns the 2025 Vic150 Co-Champions.

The prestigious Vic150 winners list is highlighted by elite names in Australian bowling history. Victorian powerhouse Bec Whiting returns, aiming for her third consecutive and seventh career title—a feat that would tie the legendary TBA Hall of Famer Ann-Maree Putney’s record.

Bek Martin, fresh off her victory at the Suncity Women’s Open, arrives as the women’s division ranking’s leader, chased closely by Dena Buxton, Jamie Phelan, and Bec Whiting herself.

Following the recent news regarding gaining a scholarship in the US, Youth superstar Emily Hart will return to another Open event. After missing the top 10 cut last year, she will be doing all she can to go a few steps further in her final preparations before embarking on her college career.

Smash FM in Victoria sat down with Bek Martin and Emily Hart last week to discuss their preparations. You can listen to the segment below.
