Tenpin Bowling Australia continues to encourage, educate and support our growing coach workforce. Whether you’re a teacher delivering Roll n Strike for Sporting Schools or a high-performance athlete wanting to improve your own technique – there’s loads of training and opportunities available for everyone.

One such initiative is the Australian Sports Commission’s (ASC) Women’s Mentor Program for community coaches and officials who identify as women. This program ensures coaches and officials are supported by the ASC team to develop and implement mentor programs and drive gender equity and positive sport experiences for women and girls within their association or organisation. Applications close on the 19 January, so be quick and apply now!

The program provides an immersive experience focusing on equity, inclusion and cultural safety to provide greater access to sport. It’s about enabling, empowering and supporting women mentors, with the tools to influence positive change and navigate change management in their clubs or organisation.

All program participants will be required to nominate either a sponsor or peer support from their association or organisation, and TBA are happy to help connect you to the coaching network nation-wide. The peer support or sponsor will attend a series of virtual workshops to define and explore their role in driving gender equity.

TBA remain committed to a diverse and inclusive sport, providing opportunities for everyone to be involved and realise their tenpin bowling potential. For more information about the women’s mentor program visit the link below:
