Tenpin Bowling Australia, in the spirit of reconciliation, acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land and pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging.
This country always was and always will be Aboriginal land. We make a commitment to honour and respect cultural impact and provide appropriate support and guidance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander bowlers and their communities.
We previously released a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) recognising our continued reconciliation journey commitment. We continue to support acknowledgement days/weeks such as NAIDOC and Reconciliation Week.
National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July each year (Sunday to Sunday), to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth. National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
