CARNIVAL OF BOWLING COMING TO ORANGE SOON!

The Orange Tenpin Bowling Association has today released the official Entry Form for one of the State’s most popular annual tournaments – the NSW COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS & MASTERS.
With the enthusiastic support of Orange City Council, this year’s carnival of bowling will take place in the vibrant City of Orange, a region known for moderate summers, unique stays and exceptional produce.
First staged in 1991 and traditionally held over the Australia Day Long Weekend, the 2026 NSW COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS will attract male and female Adult and Junior players from all around the State for three days of fierce but friendly competition at the state-of-the-art Orange Tenpin Bowl.
The Championships will feature Singles, Doubles and Teams events on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th January, with Masters qualifying based on the highest Singles series bowled in either Open or Restricted divisions.
Up first on the lanes at 8.30am on Monday 26th January will be the top 16 qualifiers in the Dawn Smith Restricted Masters event, followed by qualifiers for the Open Masters event lining up to contest the Noel Burns Open Masters from 12 noon onwards.
“We’re thrilled to be hosting this prestigious event and can guarantee bowlers and their families will find many attractions while they’re here,” said Centre proprietor Aldo Belmonte. “It’s sure to be action-packed both on and off the lanes – there’s so much to see and do here in Orange and the Championships are perfectly timed on the Long Weekend to enjoy an extended visit to this diverse area,” he added.

Participants will compete for cash, trophies and prizes. Prize money is on offer for both male and female top placegetters, reflecting the gender parity of the sport and showcasing its widespread appeal to all ages.
