Day 2 Preview: Team Australia looks to Double Down in Reno

What a start for Team Australia at the 2025 IBF World Seniors Championship in Reno!

After a brilliant opening day that saw three Aussies advance to the Singles medal rounds – Adam Hayes, Julie Harrison, and Robyn Flynn – confidence is high heading into Day 2.

Now, attention turns to the Doubles event, which will make up the next six games of each bowler’s 18-game championship total.

Day 2 Focus: Doubles Event

Each pair will bowl six games in one block, with the goal of finishing in the top four to advance to the medal rounds.

And that’s exactly what Team Australia achieved on Day 1. With the Singles success building momentum, the focus now shifts to doubling down and maintaining that consistency as the next phase begins.

The Grand Senior Women pairing of Julie Harrison and Robyn Flynn – both Singles semi-finalists – will reunite in search of even more silverware.

Every game counts: totals from Singles, Doubles, and Teams contribute to each bowler’s 18-game All-Events standing, with the top 24 qualifying for the Masters event later this week.

After one day of play, the Aussies are right in the mix across multiple divisions.
