Entries Now Open for the 37th National Tenpin Bowling Championship for Persons with a Disability

Entries are now open for the 37th National Tenpin Bowling Championship for Persons with a Disability, to be held at the Suncity Tenpin, Alexandra Headlands (Sunshine Coast, QLD) from 3-13 June 2026.
Delivered in collaboration with Australian Disabilities Tenpin Inc (ADTI), the National Disability Championships remain one of the largest and most inclusive events on the Australian tenpin bowling calendar, welcoming more than 300 bowlers from across the country each year.
What’s New for 2026
Several important updates will apply to the 2026 Championships:
- Teams event updated – Teams will now consist of four (4) bowlers, replacing the previous trio’s format.
- Women’s Masters divisions introduced (trial) – Women’s divisions will be included across the Open, Classic and Restricted Masters events in 2026.
- Updated squad schedule – squad times have been revised to better accommodate Singles, Doubles, and Teams within each session.
- Masters scheduling changes
- Open Masters will be held on Thursday, 11 June
- Classic and Restricted Masters will be held on Friday, 12 June
All changes are reflected in the Entry Information Booklet and Entry Form, and participants are strongly encouraged to read this information carefully before submitting entries.
Stage 1 Entries Now Open
Stage 1 entries are now open and will close at 5:00pm (AEST) on Friday, 27 March, 2026.
Key Stage 1 entry details:
- Entries are capped at nine (9) squads per bowler, plus All-Events
- A minimum 15% deposit is required for Stage 1 entries
- Valid entries are processed in the order received
- Full payment for Stage 1 entries is due by Friday, 1 May 2026
Subsequent entry stages will open subject to squad availability.

Entries must be submitted using the official forms and emailed to the Tournament Director, Louise Cooke, with all required supporting documentation including:
- TBA 2026 Registration confirmation
- Bowler record or league standing sheets
- Sports Integrity Declaration
- Entry fee deposit or full payment

All event information will also be available via the National Disability Championship event page on the TBA website, and participants are encouraged to share entry details with fellow bowlers and bowling centres.
