Entries Open Tuesday 26 May 2026 – 4:00PM AEST

The 2026 Tenpin Bowling Australia (TBA) National Youth Championships are headed to Coolangatta Tweed Tenpin from 16-19 July 2026, and entries open tomorrow for the TBA21 National Masters.

Held in Tweed Heads, NSW, the Championships bring together two nationally accredited events across four days: The TBA21 National Teams Challenge and the TBA21 National Masters – two of the most prestigious events on the Youth Division calendar.

How the Championships Unfold

The Championships open with the TBA21 National Teams Challenge on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 July, contested by state, territory, and zone representative teams across the Boys’ and Girls’ divisions.

Following the conclusion of the Challenge, the focus shifts to the TBA21 National Masters, a nationally ranked event open to all eligible TBA members.

TBA21 National Masters – Entries Open Tomorrow!

The TBA21 National Masters is open to all 2026 TBA members in good standing who have not reached their 21st birthday on 1 January 2026. Non-resident bowlers who  are members of an affiliated federation and meet the age requirement are also eligible.

The entry fee is $290, with a $100 deposit required to secure your spot on TenpinResults. The balance is due by 3 July 2026.

Entries will open on Tuesday 26 May 2026 at 4:00PM AEST.

TBA21 National Teams Challenge

The Teams Challenge is open to state, territory, and zone associations across Australia, with each association able to register teams of up to five males and five females (with four competing at any one time). TBA is also welcoming expressions of interest for additional zone teams in either or both divisions – contact Nathan Stein at [email protected] to discuss.

Teams will compete across five disciplines – Singles, Doubles, Baker Teams, Traditional Teams and All-Events – with points awarded based on total pinfall. The top four bowlers in each gender division will be named All-Stars and receive automatic qualification into Stage 2 of the TBA21 National Masters.

The Jason Belmonte Sportsperson Awards will also be presented at the dinner, voted on by team managers across two days of competition. The presentation dinner will be held on the night of the 17 July 2026.

Important information for 2026 entries

With PlayHQ and TenpinResults now operating as separate systems, bowlers are asked to note the following before attempting entry.

Logging into TenpinResults

  • Bowlers are strongly encouraged to log in to TenpinResults using their TenpinResults (TPR) number, rather than an email address.
  • This is particularly important for dependent members, where the email address in TenpinResults may belong to the account holder who completed the registration on PlayHQ

Activation Timing

  • TenpinResults activations occur daily from 2pm (AEST)
  • Bowlers who complete their TBA registration PlayHQ after the most recent activation will appear as active following the next scheduled update.
  • If you have registered recently, please allow time for this process to complete before attempting to enter

Previous member numbers

  • Bowlers who registered in PlayHQ and identified  a previous TPR member number will have their registration renewed against that number wherever possible but may differ for multiple reasons.

Support and Assistance

  • Bowlers experiencing log-in or activation issues are encouraged to contact Tenpin Bowling Australia directly via email or phone, rather than submitting multiple entry attempts.
  • Most issues can be resolved quickly once identified.

2026 Entry Reminder

  • Please log in to TenpinResults using your TPR number (especially dependent members).
  • Registrations completed in PlayHQ are activated daily from 2pm-3pm AEST in TenpinResults.
  • Recent registrations may not appear immediately.
  • For log-in or activation issues, contact TBA for assistance.
