Entry Release: Final Events for Open, Women’s & Senior Divisions in 2025

As the 2025 season enters its final chapters, Tenpin Bowling Australia is pleased to confirm entry details for four major nationally ranked events that will bring the year to a close for the Open, Women’s, and Senior divisions.
These showcase tournaments will mark the final ranked opportunities in these categories, while additional events for other divisions are still to come before the season wraps up.
NSW Open
📍 iPlay Tenpin City, Lidcombe, NSW
📅 12–14 September 2025
🔓 Entries Open: Wednesday 6 August via TenpinResults
The 42nd running of the iconic NSW Open returns to Lidcombe for another huge edition of this long-standing event. As the fourth nationally ranked event for both the TBA Open and TBA Women’s divisions in 2025, all eyes will be on defending champions Sam Cooley (NSW) and Rebekah Martin (VIC), who have dominated in recent years.

TBA50 National Masters
📍 TBA National High Performance Centre, Sunshine Coast, QLD
📅 8–10 November 2025
🔓 Entries Open: Thursday 7 August via TenpinResults
The final event in the 2025 TBA Senior division calendar, the TBA50 National Masters returns for its 39th running. Two-time defending champion Dena Buxton (VIC) will aim to continue her incredible run, while Barry Dodds (VIC) returns as the reigning men’s champion.

TBA Australian Masters

📅 17–19 October 2025

The fifth ranked event for the TBA Open and final event for the Women’s divisions in 2025, the TBA Australian Masters is one of the sport’s most prestigious titles. Now in its 62nd year, the event will once again attract the country’s best, with Adam Hayes eyeing a rare three-peat and Rebekah Martin returning to defend her crown.

Gunspray Salisbury Open
📍 Bowland Salisbury, Salisbury, SA
📅 15-16 November 2025
🔓 Entries Open: Tuesday 12 August via TenpinResults
The sixth and final nationally ranked event for the TBA Open division is a brand new addition – the Gunspray Salisbury Open.
Marking the return of ranked Open competition to South Australia, this debut event welcomes bowlers to Bowland Salisbury for what promises to be a thrilling finale.

2025 Walter Rachuig Trophy Tournament
Following consultation with States and Territories, a joint decision has been made not to hold the Walter Rachuig Trophy Tournament in 2025.
A new national committee has been formed to review and reshape national team events, with the aim of strengthening the future of team bowling in Australia. While this means a temporary pause, the return of Rachuig is expected in 2026 alongside the TBA Australian Masters.
Please note, this decision only impacts Rachuig and the Adult Championships. TBA50, TBA21, Junior Nationals, and Disability Nationals are proceeding as normal.
