Ball Registration & Six-Ball Limit – 2026 Ranked Event Rule

From 2026, new ball registration rules apply to all nationally ranked events. For this event, bowlers are limited to a maximum of six (6) bowling balls for the duration of the tournament.

All balls to be used during the event must be listed on the Ball Registration Form, which is included in this email.

Please complete the form prior to arrival and hand it in at check-in.

No additional balls may be introduced once competition has commenced.

Equipment Resurfacing – 2026 Ranked Event Rule

As part of the 2026 ranked event regulations, ball resurfacing is not permitted once official practice has concluded for each squad appearance.

You can no longer resurface any of your equipment between blocks or when you change lanes. This restriction brings our standards in line with international competitions. You are able however to resurface your equipment after the completion of your first appearance (10 games) and before the end of warm up of your second appearance (8 games)

No equipment may be resurfaced once play is underway.

Membership / Rankings Reminder

Please note that membership and ranking points requirements have changed for 2026.

Bowlers are no longer required to purchase a Silver Upgrade in order to be eligible for ranking points. The previous benefits attached to the Silver Upgrade are now included as part of standard TBA registration for the year.

As long as you are registered with TBA prior to bowling a ranked event, your performances will automatically be eligible for ranking points.

Venue Notes

• Doors will open 30 minutes prior to check-in by the morning squads
