Julian Dinham through to World Youth Championships Singles semi-final

Australia’s Julian Dinham has progressed to the Men’s Singles semi-final at the 2026 IBF World Youth Championships in Kuching, Malaysia.
The result places Julian among the final four athletes in the world in the Men’s Singles event, following a strong Matchplay performance at Megalanes Sarawak Bowling Centre.
In the Matchplay phase, Julian was placed in Group A with seven other opponents and faced each and every bowler in the group. He finished the Matchplay phase with 6 out of 7 wins for a total of 18 points to finish on top of Group A and move to the semi-finals.
Julian will now return to the lanes on Sunday, 5 July, with a place in the World Youth Championships Singles final on the line. He will face the bowler who finished second in Group B.
