Meet Janine Matheson!

Janine has dedicated many years to tenpin bowling in the Northern Territory, serving in key roles such as Vice President, and President of the Northern Territory Tenpin Bowling Association.

She has been instrumental in organising local and national tournaments, including the Darwin and NT Championships and was a key figure in the Arafura Games from 2001 to 2011, promoting international sports participation in Darwin.

Janine’s administrative efforts extend to ensuring compliance with government and association requirements, managing membership, and securing grants. Recognised nationally, Janine has represented NT interests at the Tenpin Bowling Australia (TBA) annual general meetings and has been involved with the Seniors National Training Squad as their manager since 2020.

Janine views tenpin bowling as a lifelong sport and works tirelessly to enhance member experiences and maintain the sport’s vibrant community in NT. Your commitment to the sport is incredible and we thank you Janine for all that you do!

3 Cheers for Janine!

To celebrate National Volunteer Week, we want to thank all our volunteers who make our sport possible by giving a big 3 Cheers for Volunteers!
