SINGLES

Every athlete bowls six games, with total pinfall determining the National Teams Challenge Singles Champions. Individual performances also earn valuable points towards their teams divisional and overall standings.

DOUBLES

Partnerships contest six games, with combined pinfall deciding the National Teams Challenge Doubles Champions. Every result contributes valuable points towards each teams divisional and overall standings.

BAKER TEAMS

Four-player teams compete across six Baker-format games, with each athlete delivering two frames per game. Every result earns valuable points while determining the National Teams Challenge Baker Team Champions.

TRADITIONAL TEAMS

Teams return to traditional four-player competition for three games, with every athlete bowling a full game. Combined pinfall crowns the Traditional Team Champions and contributes to divisional and overall standings.

FEMALE CHAMPIONS

The Female title is decided across 15 games of Singles, Doubles and Traditional Teams. The State, Territory or Zone with the highest female challenge points is crowned Female Champions.

MALE CHAMPIONS

The Male title is decided across 15 games of Singles, Doubles and Traditional Teams. The State, Territory or Zone with the highest male challenge points is crowned Male Champions.

COMBINED CHAMPIONS

The Combined title is awarded to the State, Territory or Zone accumulating the most points across all male and female events, recognising the strongest overall team performance.

ALL-STARS

The top four average bowlers in each division across the 15-game All-Events standings are named to the All-Star Team, earning recognition and automatic qualification into Stage 2 of the National Masters.

STAGE 1

QUALIFYING

All competitors bowl eight qualifying games, with scratch pinfall determining the standings. The top 12 in each division advance, joined by the four National Teams Challenge All-Stars.

STAGE 2

GROUP MATCHPLAY

Sixteen bowlers in each division contest a seven-game round-robin, earning points for every match. The top two bowlers from each group advance to the Final Four.

STAGE 3

FINAL FOUR

The remaining four bowlers compete in best-of-three semi-finals. Winners progress to the national final match, with ties decided by a 9th and 10th frame roll-off.

STAGE 4

NATIONAL FINAL

The two semi-final winners meet in a best-of-three national final match to determine the TBA21 National Masters Champions in the male and female divisions.
