The 2024 Queensland (QLD) Ladies Classic is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary this weekend at its long-standing home, Caboolture Bowl in Queensland!

Established in 1999, the QLD Ladies Classic is the second Tenpin Bowling Australia (TBA) Women’s Division event for 2024, following the Vic150 during Easter.

All eyes will be on the number one ranked bowler, Bec Whiting, who claimed victory in the first event of the 2024 season. The Victorian bowler holds the record for the most QLD Ladies Classic titles, with an astounding six wins (2010, 2011, 2014, 2017, 2018, 2019).

Rebekah Martin, the second half of the dynamic duo known as ‘Bec Squared’, returns to defend her 2023 title. Martin is now a two-time event winner, adding to the fun fact that a bowler named Rebecca has claimed the trophy seven times in the past decade!

The format for the event will see all bowlers compete in 14 games of scratch pinfall, with 8 games scheduled for Saturday and 6 on Sunday. The top 16 bowlers based on pinfall after qualifying will bowl an additional 4 games. The top 8 will then proceed to the popular ‘Footy Finals Format’ bracket to crown the 2024 QLD Ladies Classic Champion.

Tenpin Bowling Australia wishes all bowlers the best of luck and high scoring over the weekend.
