Queensland and South Australia claim titles in thriller on State Team Challenge Day

🎳 State Team Challenge Day for 2024 is in the books! 🌟

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Queensland for winning this year’s Michael Cooke Memorial Shield and South Australia for claiming the 2024 Cole Challenge Cup! 🏆

In a dramatic finish, the Cole Challenge Cup was decided by only 1 point, while Queensland and Victoria TIED on 38 points for the Michael Cooke Memorial Shield. Queensland claims the trophy based on total pinfall – an 8 pin difference!

Michael Cooke Memorial Shield

1st: 🥇 Queensland – 38 points, 6,240 pins

2nd: 🥈 Victoria – 38 points, 6,232 pins

3rd: 🥉 South Australia – 30 points, 5,588 pins

Cole Challenge Cup

1st: 🥇 South Australia – 35 points, 7,462 pins

 2nd: 🥈 Western Australia – 34 points, 7,380 pins

 3rd: 🥉 New South Wales – 26.5 points, 7,314 pins

A brilliant day of bowling that saw the event’s first 300 game bowled, along with sportsmanship and smiling faces showcased throughout! We congratulate all bowlers for their fantastic performances in the 2024 State Team Challenge Day events! 🙌🎉
