Name:

Dianne Milton

Who?

A super volunteer from Western Australia on the Australian Disabilities Tenpin Incorporated Committee and doing a mountain of work in the leadup to the 2025 National Disability Championships that will be hosted at Zone Bowling Morley, WA in June!

What does volunteering mean to you?

I see volunteering as a way of helping other people.

I find it really fulfilling when I see someone finally achieve something they have been trying so hard to accomplish. I always encourage everyone who wants to have a go, to enter our State Championships.

What sort of things you do as a volunteer in the sport?

I run several leagues, junior tournaments, and the All Abilities Cup (which is only for people with a disability) and they travel to other centres within the state.

You can also join the conversation by using #NVW2025 and #3CheersForVolunteers on social media, or by sharing a personal thank you to a volunteer who has made a difference in your bowling journey.

Whether it’s one hour or one hundred hours, every contribution counts. To every volunteer who helps bowling communities grow and thrive — we see you, we thank you, and we celebrate you.
