Entries set to Open for the 2025 TBA National Junior Championships!

We’re excited to announce that entries for the 2025 TBA National Junior Championships officially open tomorrow afternoon, Friday 21 February, 2025!
This premier junior bowling event will take place from 4–12 April 2025 at Wyncity Keon Park, Thomastown, Victoria, bringing together the best young talent from across Australia.
Who Can Enter?
The tournament is open to all Junior bowlers who are 2025 TBA Members and have not turned 18 before 1 January 2025. All participants must be registered members, which will be verified before the event.
Championship Format
Bowlers will compete in a variety of formats, with a three-game series played across:
🎳 Teams – Bowl with the same four teammates or mix it up in different combinations!
🎳 Doubles – Unlimited entries allowed, with any partner (male, female, or mixed).
🎳 Singles – Compete in your grade or challenge yourself by entering higher classifications.
🎳 All Events – Bowlers can register for the All Events category, where their best scores from Teams, Doubles, and singles will count towards their overall Championships total.
Major Events
🏆 The Return of the Royal Rumble! – Back for the first time since 2019, the Royal Rumble will help kick off the event in style!
🏆 Three Cup Events! –
- Restricted Cup – Returning to the championships for the first time since 2019 for bowlers with an average no greater than 169 (Boys) and 159 (Girls).
- Classic Cup – average no greater than 189 (Boys) and 179 (Girls).
- TBA Australian Junior Masters – A nationally ranked event in the junior division running for the 54th time, open to all junior members who complete an All-Events entry at the Championships.
🏆 President’s Shield – The prestigious five-person team event will take place in the final three days of the championships, bringing together State and Territory teams, New Zealand, and more!
